Rider of the Year Nominee

I want to go boating with Ron. I do, but i want more. Because he is a nice guy.  Because his energy pulls me. Because of his skills. His Passion.  Because he knows how to build a Pizza oven right on the Riverbank. Because he likes to go hard. Not only he boats hard, but as a Carpenter he also works hard, to finance his next dream as quick as possible.  Because he used to race snowboard boardercross in the Swiss national team, but gave it up for more paddling.  Because he is maybe the best, most dedicated Creekboater to emerge in Europe in the last years. Because of the first descent expeditions he planned and led on Rio Juanambu and Rio Guaitara in southern Colombia.  Because of his solo multiday trips in Nepal and Colombia (Rio Suárez, which was also a first descent).  Because he really enjoys all aspects of Whitewater paddling. Find new rivers, shred a wave, enjoy outdoor live. Just like all of us.  Because the only thing at what Ron isn't good enough, is going after sponsors and promoting himself.
