The Rider of the Year Awards celebrate and showcase the best in whitewater. The event combines athlete submitted videos of hard drops and big tricks with nomination based entries for the premiere categories.

Those wishing to submit clips make sure to follow these steps:

1. Sign up for a login ( from the homepage click 'signup with facebook' ... from this link you are also able to sign up without a facebook account )
2. Now in your account, edit your sponsor info, website, etc to your own fitting.
3. Export your clip using the vimeo compression guidelines or send the original file. If you are using GoPro files, make sure to convert the files to Quicktime (.mov) files... You can do that with Mpeg Streamcilp, available free HERE.
4. Send unedited, full res clips to

- You can send files up to 300megs for free via sendspace.com (if you require more space, email for ftp info)
- In the description, make sure to include the who/what/where of the clip
**Clips must be from after August 1st, 2011, clips from earlier will not be accepted**

Nominees for ‘Rider of the Year’ should have accomplished something that resounds on an international level.
Nominees for ‘Expedition of the Year’ should be exceptional trips of a compelling nature.
Nominees for 'Competitor of the Year' should have had dominate performances within internationally competitive fields.
Nominees for the 'Honey Badger Award' should have done something worthy of the honey badger title.
