Richard recently undertook a 24-hour whitewater kayaking challenge to raise funds for a cancer charity. He paddled the challenging Upper Dart River (grade4) in Devon. It's a challenging run with continious whitewater, including 'The Mad Mile' 'The Ledges' 'Euthanasia Falls' and 'Pandora's Box', and one that most paddlers would be pushed to do two times. Richard managed 20. Strong as an Ox, tough as old boots and with a big heart to match.
