This was the first time in the United states for the young swiss family and they were determined to run as many stout runs as possible in their short amount of time here. They were in Cali boating for 16 days and got on 20 sections! They got on most of the great California classics from South Branch, Royal Gorge, Dinkey, Fantasy, Upper Cherry and much more. They ran everything with no problems, or broken gear. Im not positive, but it seems like the brothers if not just Sven, are the youngest to do these runs, especially to run and accomplish the drops they did. The Swiss put on an Epic show on many runs, all while staying humble and stoked on the what they had accomplished. They said one of their favorite parts of Cali was meeting all the pro's they had seen in videos, and being able to paddle beside some of their most respected fellow paddlers.

Beyond their very impressive descents on this California trip (especially impressive for the young sons at only 17 and 18 !!), the Lämmlers have been laying siege to tough European whitewater this year as well, making their mark as some of the world's boldest and best whitewater paddlers.
