Not many girls can paddle with the boys. Adriene can. A few years back when I first was taking Adriene down the Green it was a nerve racking experience to say the least. She was banging off rocks, flipping where you shouldn't, and screaming like a banshee.

Times they have changed. Adriene dominated the field of women at The Teva Mountain Games this year. Always a stacked field Adriene dethroned legends such as Nikki Kelly and Tanya Faux.

Her sub 5 minute times in The Green Race are more than 20 seconds faster than other females have gone. Add these race results to expeditions in California this year and you have a prime nominee for Rider of The Year.
