Claire O'hara is the current dual World Champion in Freestyle Kayaking and Squirt Boating.

She lives in Leeds, England, travels the world to kayak, can do all the hardest tricks in a playboat on a wave or hole, and has done a 21 second mystery move in a squirt boat!

She can do every move possible in a squirt boat, and usually outscores even the top men competitors in that field. In a playboat, she enjoys Clean Air Loops, McNastys, and huge AirScrews.

In her own words, " [my] Aim is to be able to perform all the freestyle moves and be able to do combos. And to do them well.

I believe it is possible for us to paddle as well as, and close the gap on the guys. Still not there yet but defiantly getting closer… getting a much better

understanding of how the boat works and super excited for the next few years to be part of the female development of the sport of freestyle!"

in 2011, Claire won the World Championship title in Plattling Germany and will be competing in all the major European Competitions this fall.
