The original Honey Badger, Erik will no doubt have a few separate nominations into this category... I'll start with this one:
Enter ~80 foot Wahclella Falls on Tanner Creek in Orgeon, a tall drop with a difficult entrance and no easy way to get in above the drop. " I wanted to run it since the day I'd seen it 3 or 4 years prior, I just didn't know how I was going to get to the lip of the falls". In April Erik decided the time was right, and headed back to the drop confident that "with enough rope and optimism we could get down into the heart of the canyon" After a 4 hour hike and another scout he "felt confident [he] could get lowered down close enough to figure something out". So Boomer got into his boat ~200' feet above the drop and was lowered (attached at the stern) to just above the drop, where a big hole guarded the final approach to the lip. Once there he says he was "focused on the simple task I had, cut the rope, land in the right direction with a big stroke to get over the hole, and then go into autopilot"
In typical Honey Badger style, Erik pulled the whole thing off. Check the attached photo and the upcoming film "Frontier" for a glimpse into this feat. GRRRRRR
