Aniol is one of the most talented kayakers I've ever seen paddle. He paddles difficult class 5 with a style that always makes it looks easy and a demeanor that seems to agree. During a big mission in Mexico Aniol lay siege to the waterfalls of the area, firing off everything he could get himself in front of including Tomata 1 + 2, Xico, and styling the 2nd decent (just after Rafa Oritz) of the 128' Big Banana Falls in Mexico's province of Veracruz. Aniol also had a strong showing at this years Grand Prix, finishing in 9th place overall and showing huge promise in both racing and freestyle. Beyond all his paddling, Aniol is a humble and motivated kayaker (for example, Aniol has spent this summer camping with very basic set-up, in the woods around the Ottawa River in order to stay here elevating his freestyle). His kayaking continues to improve and we all look forward to watching how it progresses. Respect Rata !
